They have refinished and or lacquered a number of pieces for me and each piece was beautifully completed with flawless finishing . Their customer service is excellent , their prices are reasonable and they are just good people to deal with . They ask all the right questions and won’t proceed unless they know exactly what is required . They are excellent at lacquered pieces especially and understand the bright colours that sometimes are required for decorative looks . The 7 or 8 pieces they have finished for myself and family members have achieved a high value because of their work and will look great for years to come . It now looks like a splendid designer piece from First Dibs! My daughter was also very pleased with the re-do of her kitchen table, which was a major job; it looked beautiful. Here, I have found both reasonable prices and integrity in completing their work . I am pleased to highly recommend this business.

This dining room set has always been a piece of our family’s history. Therefore, having the opportunity to use it in our cottage was amazing. In addition to needing repair work and added height to the table legs, the dilemma was what colour to stain it when the cottage palette was mostly grey. Prior to renewing my furniture I was hesitant as I was unsure about how it would look after. After having contacted several furniture repair shops I stumbled upon Furniture Renew… I set up a meeting with Scott and, despite his young age, it became clear to me that I was dealing with a seasoned specialist in wood working and furniture repairs. Scott gave me great advice on how to refinish my furniture and assisted me throughout the project. He also proved to have an excellent taste when it comes to giving my antique furniture a modern look. The end result? Wonderfully refinished furniture with a unique look to it.
